Live photograph captured during the application
In current application flows, candidates upload a photograph and also take a live photograph during the Common Application Form using a webcam or the official UPSC app. The live photo must be clear, well lit, and match the uploaded photograph. Signature is a separate upload
UPSC applications also require a separate signature upload (three signatures signed one below the other in black ink on plain white paper, saved as a JPG of roughly 20–100 KB with dimensions around 350–500 pixels). This is a distinct step from the photograph — this page prepares the photo only.
