SSC CGL Photo Requirements
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) mandates that all candidates upload a recent passport-sized photograph during the online form submission process. The image must meet the following strict criteria to be accepted by the portal:
- Dimensions: 3.5 cm × 4.5 cm (at 300 DPI, this equals approximately 413 × 531 pixels)
- File Format: JPEG (.jpg or .jpeg)
- File Size: Between 20 KB and 50 KB
- Background: White or light-colored background preferred
- Face Coverage: Face should occupy 70–80% of the frame, with name and date visible below
