Privacy Policy

1. No Image Data Collection
Photo Resize Tools does not collect, store, or transmit the images you process. All image processing is performed entirely within your browser using client-side JavaScript (HTML5 Canvas API and FileReader API). When you open an image, it is read locally on your device and never sent to any server. Images never leave your device.
This refers to your image files and contents. Separately, like most websites, this site uses Google Analytics for aggregate usage statistics — see sections 2 and 4 below.
2. Cookies and Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies (such as _ga, _gid, and _ga_*) to collect anonymous information including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the site. This data is processed by Google to help site owners understand usage patterns.
You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Your cookie preferences for this site can also be managed through your browser settings.
3. Local Storage
The only data stored on your device is your theme preference (light/dark mode), which is saved in your browser's local storage. This data is used solely to improve your user experience on repeat visits.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services on this website:
- Google Analytics: Used to understand how visitors interact with the site. Google Analytics collects anonymous usage data via cookies. See the Google Privacy Policy for details.
- Google AdSense: Used to display advertisements. AdSense may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can manage ad personalisation settings through your Google Ad Settings.
- Google Fonts: Used for typography. When you load the website, your browser may request font files from Google's servers. This is subject to Google's privacy policy.
No image data is shared with any third party. All image processing remains entirely local to your browser.
5. Security
Since all image processing happens entirely in your browser, your images are never at risk of being intercepted, stored, or misused. We recommend using an up-to-date browser and keeping your operating system secure.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
